ABOUT
Dr. Mark Fish devoted his professional life to helping others.
He attributed his scholastic abilities and his medical aptitude to the wonderful start he had in his academic career at the Immanuel Lutheran School.
It was with this in mind that the scholarship was formed after his death in 1997– to assist other graduates of Immanuel Lutheran School with their dreams of working for the good of others in a healthcare related field.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Mark Fish Scholarship is to recognize and encourage scholarship in fields of health care study.
AWARD
A $1000.00 award will be given to an undergraduate or graduate student each year. Final determination is reached by the Fish Scholarship committee and formal announcement is made on August 1.
CRITERIA AND CONSIDERATIONS
Scholarships are restricted to high school graduates who are also graduates of Immanuel Lutheran School, Seymour, Indiana. All applicants must be full time students at the time of the award and in a program leading to a degree in a field of health care study. Applicants must show evidence of academic accomplishment and enjoy the high regard and respect of their supervising faculty.
